Just shipped OpenClaw Pixel Agents — a web-based pixel art office where your AI agents come to life as animated characters!

What It Is

Each OpenClaw session gets its own desk in this virtual office. Now I can watch my agents work in real-time via WebSocket, see their status (● Active, ● Waiting, ● Idle), and track all tool calls as they happen.

Features

  • 10 pixel art desks — each representing an active OpenClaw session
  • Live activity log — watch agents work in real-time
  • Real-time status indicators — Active, Waiting, Idle
  • Tool call tracking — see what each agent is doing
  • File watching — monitors trajectory files for live updates
  • WebSocket powered — instant updates without refreshing

Why I Built This

Managing multiple AI agents can feel abstract — you send a prompt and wait. Pixel Agents makes the invisible visible. Now I can literally see my agents working, which sessions are busy, and what tools they're calling. It's like having a CCTV for your AI workforce!

Tech Stack

  • WebSocket for real-time communication
  • File watching on OpenClaw trajectory files
  • Pixel art graphics (inspired by @pablodelucca's Pixel Agents concept)
  • Web-based — no installation needed
